Making a Purchase

We have endeavoured to ensure that making a purchase from us is as easy as possible. Once you have selected the garments that you want, simply select ‘Add to basket’. This will take you through to your shopping basket, where you can make any final adjustments to your purchases before continuing on to payment.

Accepted Payments

The Robert Old website accepts payments from American Express, Diners, Visa, Mastercard, JCB and Paypal. All of our payments are processed through SagePay, so that you can be sure that your details are secure.

However, if you would prefer to make a purchase over the phone, simply call us on +44 1202 290832 and we will be happy to help.

VAT & Currency

If we are delivering to you outside of the United Kingdom, your credit card company will automatically convert the payment into your local currency for you on your bill.

Value Added Tax (VAT) is only applied to customers who are making purchases within the European Union, at a current rate of 20%.

All other orders are VAT free and any taxes or import duties in this case are your responsibility.

The prices on our website include VAT.

Delivery

We unfortunately cannot ship any garment until the payment has been cleared by SagePay. If the payment for your order clears before 11am UK time (Monday-Friday), we aim to send out your goods on the same day.

All orders are shipped free world wide using our Standard delivery service. This takes a couple of days for the UK and up to two weeks for all other territories.

If you require your purchases sooner, we also offer a premium delivery service. Within the UK, we use Royal Mail Special Delivery for this service. This is charged at £5 per order and is a next day delivery service. A signature is normally required to confirm delivery.

For premium deliveries outside of the UK, we use DHL’s courier service and charge £25 per order.

If you require a tracking number/order status then you can email or phone us as this does not automatically get sent via email.

Returns

We are pleased to say that most of our customers are delighted with their orders.

However, if you receive your order and do not feel that it is suitable, please return it to us within 14 days to:

It would be helpful if you could email us prior to returning an item, so that the refund or exchange can be dealt with promptly. Once we have received the item, we will contact you and aim to process your refund or exchange by the end of the following day.

For security reasons, we are obliged to process a refund using the same payment method that was used for the original payment.

Please note - the goods are your responsibility until they have arrived back at our store, therefore we recommend that you use an insured delivery service.
