Creed fragrances now in-store

In an era of mass-marketed fragrances, Creed is a refreshing alternative. This family-run business produces fragrances of exquisite quality. Every scent they produce is hand-made using traditional techniques that have been passed from father to son in the Creed family since 1760.

 

As a favourite of the aristocracy, Creed has been worn by the courts of Queen Victoria, Napoléon III and Empress Eugenie of France, Emperor Franz-Joseph and Empress Sissi of Austro-Hungary, Queen Christina of Spain.

 

Today, James Henry Creed and his son Erwin continue in the footsteps of their forefathers and seek out the purest essences from around the world. The superior quality of their fragrances is created using traditional infusion techniques and the highest quality natural essences. These are then weighed, mixed, macerated and filtered, all by hand, before finally being carefully blended to produce evocative fragrances that enlighten the senses.

 

Robert Old are delighted to be able to offer a selection of unisex and masculine Creed fragrances at our Bournemouth store, ranging from woody, spicy scents to fresh fragrances with notes of mandarin orange, cinnamon and clove. Here is a full list of the Creed range that we stock:

Unisex Fragrances

  • Virgin Island Water (Inspired by tropical summer scents: With Sicilian White Bergamot, Jamaican Lime and Indian Jasmine)
  • Silver Mountain Water (Oliver Creed's personal favourite: With Citrus notes, Tea, Blackcurrant, Musk and Ambergris)
  • Royal Oud (Exquisite oriental scents: spicy fresh top notes of lemon, pink pepper and bergamot entice into a dark deep heart of angelica, bitter green galbanum and Lebanese cedar)
  • Millesime Imperial (Exotic wood and musk notes, enlivened with a refreshing marine note)

 

Masculine Fragrances

  • Original Santal (A modern classic: Although Sandalwood underpins this fragrance it is woven through with other woods and aromatic herbal and spice notes which give it a very contemporary appeal)
  • Original Vetiver (A delicate balance of fresh and sensual essences: citrus top notes with White Pepper and Coriander in its heart)
  • Himalaya (Conjuring the cool freshness of the mountain air: Spicy, woody heart notes contrast with fresh citrus top notes)
  • Green Irish Tweed (The best-selling fragrance: Green Verbena, Violet Leaves, Florentine Iris, Sandalwood and Ambergris are subtly orchestrated to create a fragrance that is virile, elegant and irresistibly charming)
  • Aventus (Creed's most contemporary men's fragrance: Luscious top notes of bergamot, blackcurrant, apple and pineapple; the smoky, floral heart is an intriguing blend of jasmine, birch wood, patchouli and juniper; the virile, warm base is a blend of musk, oak moss, vanilla and a liberal use of Creed’s trademark ambergris)
