Shop Worldwide in Your Local Currency. Below, we answer common questions about taxes, duties, and what you can expect when placing an order.

Taxes & Duties – What You Need to Know
If you're shopping from outside the UK, UK VAT is automatically removed at checkout.
Instead, we now ship all international orders using our Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service — making it easier, faster, and more transparent.
What is DDP?
Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) means all import taxes, VAT, and duties are:
- Calculated automatically at checkout
- Paid upfront by you
- Handled by DHL so there are no extra charges on delivery.
How It Works
To give you a clear, accurate final price:
- Each product is classified with an HS (Harmonized System) code
- The country of origin is clearly marked
- Our third-party checkout system calculates your local taxes, duties, and any handling fees based on your shipping address
You’ll see the total cost before payment — with no surprises at the door.
Why Charges Vary
Import duties and taxes are set by your country’s customs authority, not us. These charges depend on:
- The destination country
- Product type
- Local import laws and thresholds
We ensure full transparency by calculating and collecting these costs upfront.
Prefer to Pay Duties on Arrival (DAP)?
If you'd rather pay duties and taxes upon delivery (DAP), please contact us before ordering. We’ll arrange a custom invoice for you.

Tax Refunds – Important Note
If you return your order, we will refund the item value in accordance with our return policy.
However, taxes and duties paid at checkout are non-refundable, as these are collected by your local government and cannot be reclaimed by us — unless there is a genuine issue with the order (e.g. wrong item sent, defect, or similar error).
How Can We Help?
If you’re unsure about the final fees or need additional information, don’t hesitate to contact us.
DAP - Unpaid Taxes & Duties / Cancellation Policy
If your order was placed using the DAP (Delivery at Place) system, once the order has been dispatched, it becomes the customer’s responsibility to:
- Accept the delivery
- Pay any applicable charges, including:
- Local VAT
- Import duties
- Service or brokerage fees (e.g., from DHL)
If these charges are not paid or delivery is refused, the package will be returned to us by the shipping carrier. This may result in additional costs, including:
- Outbound and return shipping
- Carrier service fees
- Customs handling charges
These costs will be deducted from your refund, and only the remaining balance will be issued once the return has been processed. Please note that invoicing and processing timelines can vary, especially for international shipments. A full breakdown of charges can be provided upon request.
