The Vertigo boot is a relatively new addition to the eclectic history of Danner, entering the fray in 2009 the Vertigo 917 offers traditional hiking boot styling with modern technology.
Upper
The body of the shoe is constructed from a light brown full-grain leather which has undergone strenuous testing to ensure its strength. The leather is carefully selected before production to ensure only the highest quality makes it into fruition.
Membrane
The leather has been lined with a GORE-TEX liner membrane, this offers a waterproof solution to the leather while also being breathable to remove sweat and moisture.
Insole
For an unrivalled level of support the OrthoLite insole features three layers of cushioning. The insole is constructed from open-cell polyurethane which provides ideal temperature and air regulation.
Sole
The midsole and outsole are constructed from Vibram rubber with an EVA midsole and XS Trek outsole. The EVA midsole offers essential cushioning with the added benefits of bounce and support with the longer durability. The XS Trek outsole, exclusive to Danner is ideal for wet conditions and grip in trail terrain.
