From the Crockett & Jones Main Collection, the Molton is a black rough-out suede chukka boot that combines rugged character with refined craftsmanship.
Handmade from specially aged rough-out suede, it offers a robust feel and develops even more texture and personality over time. Set on the 336 last, the Molton features a generous tread width, a squarer toe shape, and a foot position that sits slightly closer to the front of the shoe. It is finished with a durable Dainite rubber sole for practicality and comfort.
Rooted in the heritage of the chukka boot, a style with links to British military wear, the Molton brings a distinctly modern edge to a classic design. It was notably featured in Brown rough out suede in the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die, where it was specially commissioned for the production. Based on the silhouette of the popular Tetbury chukka boot, the Molton introduces a more rugged aesthetic through its rough-out finish.
Rough-out suede naturally becomes more textured and casual with wear. Left untreated, it will gradually lighten in colour and develop a drier, rougher feel. Applying dubbin once a year will help preserve water resistance, deepen the colour, and soften the texture, restoring some of its original appearance.
Available in black in UK sizes 6–12.
